OUR QUARRY

Atlantic Quarry is situated in the Shai-Osudoku district, 15 km north of the Dawa Industrial Zone. The quarry’s pit harbors hard rock granite of one of the greatest quality and highest strength. Commissioned in 2017, the quarry produces one of the finest rock aggregates in Ghana with an ultra-modern crusher plant separated into two main sections with the tabulated capacity ranges:

The quality of Atlantic Concrete’s products hinges on the rock aggregates derived from Atlantic Quarry’s operations and production. The rocks are crushed in two phases; the primary phase where they are reduced to about x mm by a hydra-jaw crusher. The secondary phase of the crushing is carried out by two cone crushers; this is succeeded by the conveyance through steel meshes to be segregated into fine and coarse aggregates of the following sizes:

  • 0 – 5 mm (quarry dust)
  • 0 – 40 mm (quarry waste)
  • 8 mm
  • 10 mm
  • 19 mm (̴ ¾”)
  • 25 mm (̴ 1”)
